The perfume. One of the elements we immediately perceive in a person we meet. Which reminds us of certain moments or experiences. Sometimes we even identify a person with a scent. The olfactory memory accompanies us permanently and is so vibrant.

INTERVIEW
How do late summer evenings smell like? What scent do the memories of holidays spent at grandparents have? What do you feel when you are enveloped in the air in which the oils from an orange peel have been dispersed or you smell a stick of vanilla or cinnamon? Wearing a perfume is symptomatic. We want it, it is part of our social and intimate life, we have to give ourselves the good mood that a perfume gives us in turn. MATCA creates botanical aromas with a complex and wild side and does so with the generosity of a perfumer who wants to bring new ingredients that know how to perfectly complement the palette of natural ingredients.

THE STORY OF MATCA
To obtain 5 milliliters of rose absolute, about 10,000 flowers are needed, hand-picked before sunrise. So meticulous is the "math" of a botanical perfume. Fortunately, for all those looking for something different, there is a category of explorers who have broken away from mainstream perfumery to offer niche experiences. Sebastian Ţiplea and Georgiana Ştefănoaei, the people behind the Matca workshop, are such an example.

Nature's Art in A Bottle
MATCA’s creators are Georgiana Stefanoaei and Sebastian Tiplea, and both have in common the passion for natural scents, for beautiful and creative things, simple and of quality, and the love for nature. “Once entering the fascinating world of perfumery, of little bottles, of scents from around the world, and of golden liquid, there was no turning back”, says the perfume creator.
