They called themselves "pandemic entrepreneurs", because they launched the first perfumes created according to original recipes in their own workshop last September. THE STORY OF MATCA
To obtain 5 milliliters of rose absolute, about 10,000 flowers are needed, hand-picked before sunrise. So meticulous is the "math" of a botanical perfume. Fortunately, for all those looking for something different, there is a category of explorers who have broken away from mainstream perfumery to offer niche experiences. Sebastian Ţiplea and Georgiana Ştefănoaei, the people behind the Matca workshop, are such an example.

MATCA’s creators are Georgiana Stefanoaei and Sebastian Tiplea, and both have in common the passion for natural scents, for beautiful and creative things, simple and of quality, and the love for nature. “Once entering the fascinating world of perfumery, of little bottles, of scents from around the world, and of golden liquid, there was no turning back”, says the perfume creator.
